One of my favourite carry on film apart from Cowboy, Khyber, and Spying. Screaming is a spoof of the Hammer Horror films. When Jim Dale’s girlfriend goes missing at Hokum woods Harry H Corbett bumbling Detective Sergeant Bung and his Constable Slowbottom (Played by Peter Butterworth) Investigates. Soon they stumble on to a sinister plot involving Mannequins and the Evil Scientist Dr Watt (A wonderfully funny turn by Kenneth Williams)
Along the way there are Performances from Fenella Fielding, Charles Hawtrey, Bernard Blesswell, Joan Sims, Angela Douglas. There is also a brilliant cameo from John Pertwee as the short lived Dr Fettle. Pertwee my favourite Dr who of all time also cameos in Cleo, Cowboy and Columbus. Screaming is wonderfully take on the Horror movies I really enjoy the film every time I watch it. I would really recommend this film to every one who likes the Carry on films as much as me.
