My name is Frances, i attend Gamelea on a Wednesday and Friday, I work in the kichen with Damian on a Wednesday helping out with the meals.

Chesterfield - based actress turned director Adrienne Posta took on a supporting role in her first Public appearance as the new patron of gamelea Counrtyside Traning Trust - for the students were the the stars of the show Adrienne got the chance to admire their stage performance skill during a talent show - as well as helping to present certificates of achievemnt - at gamelea's annual prize giving day in the Cavendish Hall, Edensor, Chatsworth on Thursday December 16. It was wonderful to see the students blossom when they were performing - it was obvious that they were really enjoying  themselves, said Adrienne, who has exchanged the limelight to concentrate on directing and teaching young people keen to make a career on the stage.

The Gamelea Countryside Training Trust does such a fantastic job in helping to prepare people with learning disabilities for the world of work and help them lead a rounded and fulfilled life - and it's a great pleasure to be its patron.

Now Adrienne and Gamelea Principal Elizabeth hill are Planning a programme of  music drama and dance activties to add yet another string to the students' bow. we were delighted that Adrienne has agreed to be our patron and was able to join us on our student's big day, added Elizibeth. they thoroughly enjoyed  meeting her and we appreciate her help in rewading them for all the hard work they have put in to earn their certificates throughout the year

Gamelea Countryside Training is a registered charity situated on the Chatworth Estate at Eastmoor near chesterfield - aims to help people with leaning disabilities gain vocational skills to equip them for the world of work, Training is offered in agriculture,  horticulture wood craft, mechanics /metalcraft, horse care small animal care and information techology.
